UGH!! I'd fight that tooth and nail. Just what we need, the government monitoring our every move. What's next? Cameras pointed at our front doors, etc.....Big Brother needs a kick in the nuts if you ask me.

Its not that bad, as long as you know where the cameras are set up you can just slow down before you get to them and then speed back up after you pass them. I do triple digits every day and have yet to recieve any speeding tickets. *knocks on wood*

Care to share where the cameras are set up? I've seen a few police vans with cameras mounted on the west valley. I just moved here from California, and I thought cameras at stop signs were bad.

Time for one of those license plate covers that blacks out your plate with the flip of a switch!

We had photo radar here but they got rid of it. I remember when a guy had a picture of his license plate sent to him and a fine/ticket. The ticket? He sent a photo copy of the dollar amount and sent back by mail. LOL

Just add these two things, and forget about it.

I'm not sure how they would prove you used the spray. The cover, yes.

Hard to prove malicious intent from saying, hey it LOOKS like your plate is more glossy than it should be. I can't see how that ticket could possibly stick. They could GIVE it to me, but there's no way my lawyer would let that one stick. I can pretty much guarantee that.

It won't but they will give you a ticket because that stuff makes the plate blurry. It will be a ticket for modifying a plate or something stupid. Trust me, I know what this is like which is why I say this. Been there done that.

3rd gear come on! It was 1st through 3rd! I got lucky on that one. The thing is I don't mind getting tickets from cops but when I go to my mailbox and get 15 different tickets from a camera by my house that they put up.... WOULD KILL ME. I can get a lawyer to pass a couple tickets a year through no problem but 15 or so in a month would finish off my liscense.

    Here ya go:

Also, I personally witnessed a truck blow through a red light the other night at mcclintok and ray and the red light photo machines they have there didn't even go off, at least I saw no flash and it was dark out.

I wouldn't be so against these machines if they were 100% accurate. But, they are not so I will do whatever I can to defend myself against them.

And I have some of that green plate blocker reflective spray, it seems like its the same consistency as hair spray, it just leaves a shiny film on the plate and is tackey when you first spray it on.

Plate flippers are the best as long as you know where cameras are. hit the switch, the plate flips down, drive by the camera, hit the switch, the plate flips back up.

this is what you say when you send them a reply when you get a ticket by mail cuz of camera>>>>>>that wasnt me it was my uncle that came here from germany he wanted to drive the car a lil with his wife before they leave..........and they say"RELEASING CHARGES WITH PREJUDICE".........you might get a call you play along say that your gonna call your uncle and have him send money (but they know thats not gonna happend cuz hes in diff. country so they cant charge him and cant) and ur off the hook, lesson learned...its even better if the car is ur dads-moms name on the registration(diff. pic from the camera pic)

this will not work if your getting tickets every month only once maybe twice a year...
man supra parts are expensive im not paying for tickets no sir fuk that!!!!!

I thought they took a picture of the driver too. If that's the case, you'd have a hard time convincing them that it was your uncle from Germany. Especially since they can compare their photo to your Liscense picture. That's what Tucson is doing with their "Speed Vans" they snap a shot of your face and your plate.

I can't believe they actually think that those cameras are going to get people to stop speeding, everyone knows to slow down before them and speed back up after them.
