K&N FIPK vs Other

at supra store, i see the K&N FIPK for sale for $139

on ebay ive found people selling the K&N conical air filter along with what i can only assume is an adapter made by them for $69

is the air filter any better with the FIPK? is the less expensive kit any worse?

Trust me, go with the fipk, i got it and i love it, you can definatley tell a difference and it sounds very nice, works well with my exhaust.

for 69 dollars they are prolly just selling the replacement filter it self

You can get a HKS AFM adapter for the MK3 Turbo for ~$35. You can get a regular cone K&N for $35-40. Some of the adapters/filter combos I've seen on e-bay are even cheaper than that as a package.
Not sure what if any difference there is between the adapters.

how about a difference between the conical filter? keep in mind this is also a K&N filter, here is the link, i should have included it to start

its not that its all that much less, it just seems silly to spend more on the same product

I sell the K&N and HKS-Adaptor pkg on my site. If you want to play with the ebay folks, you have that option as well. I am outselling the FIPK 5 to 1 with this low-buck setup.
