I might be interested in one that could house triple 60mm gauges angled towards the driver (like the gold Top Secret widebody Supra has). Can you give us a rough estimate of how much it would cost and how soon he might be able to build them if we committed? Thanks.

There is a guy in Houston that made a triple gauge pod that fits in the passenger side airbag. It was a prototype but I dunno if he is going to mass produce them or not. Euphoric knows him, he could prolly give you more info on that.

I've seen a couple made by JC from Under Pressure, and they came out incredible. One was a tri-apex design for a customers car (afc/avcr/g-meter), the other held 5 omori gauges angled torwards the driver. The fit was 100% stock as well. He was getting templates made for steel and carbon fiber. Is there any real intrest in this? If so, i can go snap some pics for everyone and see if he'll get them done sooner.

Eeewww... If it looks like that, forget it. No offense, but it looks like Stevie Wonder stitched it.

I am hoping for a nice, clean, fiberglass piece that mounts flush. I'll open up my own holes for gauges.

So does that mean the passenger gets a boost gauge implanted in their forehead in case of an accident?

I think i remember seeing somethiing in the scal 3 video kind of like that, but instead of mounted on the surface, you would press a switch and a platform would rise up from where the airbag was and have guages mounted; angled towards the driver. Don't know if this is what you all are looking for. If it is check out the SCAL 3 video.

The reason xcelr8's triple apex pod looks weird is cause he had it covered over and the shop used a material WAY to thick. I found a pic of one of the prototype 5-gauge pods back when he was still test fitting it. Hes going to be making these in carbon fiber with stock fitment.

Looks really "busy" to me, but I'd love to see a shot from the drivers point of view. I personally like the triple gauge pod better from a strictly aesthetic point of view...but this is one serious panel!
