My current injury is my second shoulder injury. I busted up my right shoulder a few years back wakeboarding, I still wakeboard though but seeing as I just destroyed my left shoulder snowboarding I think this summer will be out for wakeboarding. I do not think me and boards are meant to go together.

Shoulder injuries via wakeboarding are pretty rare, even for pros. What did you do?

Do you really wanna know hahah, there is no cool story here.

I was letting someone drive my boat that I really should not have as he was pretty new to it but I was dying to board so what the heck.

We came to the end of a cove and turning around so i just held on with one hand to catch a rest and also adjust something on my boot. Well I was not paying attention like I should and we were going over the boats wake from where we turned around. Well the driver decides to WOT over one of the rollers and not let off and this was when the line was slightly slack so basically i took full force of the boats acceleration when i was relaxed and not ready and it just ripped my shoulder out.

Well, I definitely see how it happened. Never heard of that happening before! But I can see it.

Did your boat not have Perfect Pass?

There's 3 people that I let drive my boat, but only 1 of the 3 is any good at it. Good news for me is he comes out with me almost every time.

Yeah he had perfect pass but he switched it off due to low speed turning around and then when going over the roller he decides to basically put it in neutral so the line slacks off and then full throttle it. It was both of our faults, me not paying attention, and some driver idiocy.

Well, I got tired of having to put my BBQ on the center table on the deck. Makes it hard to move around (and packing cold cuts is not an option). I decided to make something where I can put my BBQ off the side of the boat. Grabbed some aluminum and got busy on the mill and came up with this. I used the cleat as a mounting point, and made a BBQ stand that mounts to it in less than a minute. The sides are hinged and fold up nice and flat when not in use.

Sorry for crappy quality, took it on my phone. I do have to paint it, as the glare off the AL is not going to be good.

i spend most of my weekends out on my dad's 1993 supra comp ts6m. not super great for wakeboarding, but great for slalom skiing, and of course the air chair. if you haven't seen/tried one, you should!

like this, but all silver side graphics on the red, and a pylon vs a tower.

    old. slow. fox body.

savings fund for supra in teh works

Got out on the boat and board first time of 2010 on Sunday! Late start to the season....can still see snow on every mountain from the lake, water temp like 50-55 degrees but climbing fast now!

Summerized my snowmobile the same day I de-winterized my boat....gotta love it

28' Scout Abaco. Cuddy cabin, twin 250hp Yamaha 4strokes. "Fighting Lady" yellow hull. Great boat, will hit 50 mph and gets about 2 mi/gal at almost any speed you want to run. I don't do much fishing, mostly cruise or diving. When I jump on the boat, there is cold beer in the fridge, and Bob Marley or Jimmy Buffett on the stereo.

I love the 250 4 stroke Yamahas. Super quite when I have to go idle speed, great mileage and obviously no smoke! Boat would run well with twin 225 4 strokes, but I think the 250s accelerate the boat onto plane much quicker. I got the boat new in 2006, it had been at the 2005 Miami Boat Show and was pretty loaded.

I want a 32 Intrepid with the side dive door. If things go as I hope, I might have one by the end of next year...

I own a 25' Hallett with a Paul Pfaff 502. D1-SC with around 16# of boost. GPS verified 92mph on Lake Havasu, and my boat is just average here. On Memorial Day we did a poker run, and guy did 152mph GPS verified. Lot's of SICK boats come cruising down the channel at London bridge. $300k boats are common place. If I knew how to post a photo, I would!

Just picked up this Checkmate Pulsare 2100BR. Going to repower it with a Merc 300XS over winter.

You ask any ricer, any serious ricer. It doesn't matter if the other guy is racing or not. A win is a win.

Mercury Racing 600sci's? or 525efi? I've seen even the 700sci's in some of those donzis as well.

Nice! It looks like you have an old Mercury Black Max 200 on the back of there right now. I LOVE checkmate boats.
