Bought this because I'm in the process of becoming a police officer and figured I should learn how to shoot a pistol and get as much practice as possible.

Probably going to get the HK USP Compact for concealed.

    Here's a few more:

    Sig 220, 45 ACP

    Kimber Ultra Stainless, 3" 1911, 45 ACP

Kimber Custom Eclipse, 5" 1911 This one is somewhat unique because it's chambered in my favorite caliber, 10mm

    How about 9mm fun today:

    Top one is a Ruger LCP 9mm X 17 (.380 ACP)

    Middle one is a Russian Makarov 9mm X 18 (9mm Makarov)

    Bottom one is a Sig P6 (225) 9mm X 19 (9mm Luger)

And for shits and grins here's the 3 cartridges respectively

Bouncing back and forth between either a Smith & Wesson M&P in .357 Sig, A Sig 250, or an XD-M. Then of course I have to add the variable of service size (4") or CCW size (sub-compact). I'm really liking the Para Ordinance subcompact 1911's too.

Meh, I think Sig really flopped on the P250. I'd much rather have a SigPro if I were in the market for a polymer framed Sig.

Can you expound on that? I haven't shot one, but I found the compact 9mm with the slim grip was particularly pleasing to fondle.

Lately I've been thinking about selling off my P229 to pay for CCW classes or a plane ticket to see my cousin since I'm a poor college student with no job. Like the title says I took my Sig out over break to shoot up some reloads I had made for it; now I'm stuck in a bind, after that shooting session, whether or not to sell it.

Results - both are just 8.5x11 printer paper. The targets were set up at 9yrds and the first I did 20rds of DA and the second I did 5rds of DA to each target.

    Seems my shooting is improving.
Target from back in April when I picked up the gun at 5yrds

Keep it. You'll regret selling it later.
