As some of the member stated you need a certain amount of time and/or posts to post items or cars for sale. Its all in the main f/s rules.

Fyrarms, your such a loser.... You think because you live behind a computer, you can be a DICK. You should watch how you say things to people because we all have Supra's and eventually paths are going to cross. I hope we never meet at any meets, because I would like for you to be a DICK face to face. Have a good day, DICK.....

Yeah Its pretty silly that If you own a Supra and you want to sell it on SUPRA forums that they would make an exception. But they dont. I tried to sell mine and I've owned two Supra's and been a member twice but since my post counts weren't high enough I wasn't able to.

I have no idea what prompted this post, but it got you banned. I don't think I have ever even replied to any of your posts. Odd. Oh, well. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

Oh, now I see. New guy is angry that he has to follow the same rules that everyone else follows. Because we woudn't make a special exception just for him, that makes me a dick. Some people are very weird...

My contribution: When I first joined Supraforums, I wanted to post "For sale" items Then I read the rules and I thought "wow" that's "f***ked". I thought that I was a real honest person and I wouldn't screw anyone. Well there are all kinds of people and just because I wouldn't fuckanyone over doesn't mean that everyone is like that.
Now, Im thinking that I sure am glad that these rules are in place. This really does help weed out legit and non legit sellers. After a few months of membership, I meet some real nice folks here and made some "friends" at Supraforums, you really do get to know how some members are, just from reading replys or post from here. So, yeah I glad we have these rules. I sure even if you have athousand post you could still be a crook and sell crappy parts, but at least thse rules help minumize that.

Hey, dnt feel to bad, I felt the same way. I hated it at first, but after a lot of consideration and thinking, maybe having post count as a rule wasn't bad after all. I had to work my way up on my post count, so I really think that others should have to as will. Like what the mod had said, if they let one person by and not others, that would not be fair. But I strongly disagree with mod giving people they know privileges to post on the f/s thread when they have less then the requirement number of post count. Like I said, if they let one slide, they are obligated to let other slide as will. This is just my opinion, since I did what every supraforums member should have done, get enough post count to post.

There is a way to post items for sale without having the required post count---having a moderator or long-time member vouch for you. Some people like JMSMKIV do not know what "vouch for" means. JMSMKIV thought he could just make a thread and ask a moderator to vouch for him. That is not how it works. A moderator or long-time member can only vouch for someone that they personally know. Why? Because if the new member screws someone over, the person who vouched for him is responsible. THAT is why you can't just ask people you don't know to vouch for you. The reason other members have to wait until they reach the required number of posts is because no staff member here knows them and can't vouch for them. Hope that explains things a bit more, despite already being outlined in the FS section rules.

You realize all you have to do is PM a moderator and ask if they can vouch for you right?

PM a different moderator? I've never had any problems receiving an answer.

Not quite. "Vouching" means the person better damned well know one of the staff here personally. If the deal goes bad, the person who vouched for the seller is responsible. Would you want that responsibility?

I have read the selling rules and it clearly says over 100 you can sell stock supra parts!!!!!!!

I upgraded a shit load of parts from my supra like the oem front lip was replaced with rmm, headlights , and abunch of other parts. I have those bullshit parts taking up space, my wife bitching all the time so i can get them out the house. I dont want to throw them out because i can sell them for a little bit of money and maybe buy something nice for my supra.

If any moderator is reading this can you please help me activate my account, i am a legit seller that will provide my full adress and phone number where parts can be picked up.
