    How to? TT auto d/s with N/A Diff?

    I'm in the process of an aristo swap, and from what I've read, the best thing to do, is either get a complete tt auto d/s, or complete sc400 d/s, and change the flanges on them to make it work with the aristo tt transmission's flange, etc. Does anyone have pictures/part numbers of exactly what I'd need to change on the auto tt d/s to make it work? From what I've read, I'd have to change the front flange to a 3-bolt flange, and on the rear, I'd have to change the flange on the d/s and the diff...is this correct/false? Thanks in advance. This information will be going into my tutorial thread with credit to whomever gives me the best/correct information.

    When I went R154 I ran into an issue where the TT auto diff flange was different then my NA diff flange. I simply swapped the two flanges on the diffs over almost two years ago and still running it like a charm.

    Are you going like...auto to auto? you can take the ass end of the trans off if you have both transmissions....the shaft is too long but you can just cut it.

    Take it to a shop that does drive shafts, It cost me $350.00. I was looking into this before also I thought you needed the sc drive shaft because I had seen it posted a couple of times, but I had also seen a couple of post that said they dont line up exactly. So instead of spending $150 to $200 on a drive shaft with unknown origins, I would take it to a drive shaft shop that will fit and balance it.

    ok, but i don't want to tow my car to a driveshaft shop...how are they going to know which flanges to put on etc?

    I've read numerous places that front/rear sc400 driveshafts will work when shortened 2.25"-2.5" (rear shaft shortened)

    You can buy the output shaft from a USDM TT from Elmhurst Toyota and just buy the USDM driveshaft. However this will be alot more expensive than making your own at a driveshaft shop. Flange was $220 or so when I bought it 2 years ago.

    ^^^which isn't necessary when going with an sc400 driveshaft from what I've read, which is why so many people do it.
