New pics of GT5 real time damage modeling have been released. I glad the game was pushed back to for the feature.
I'll just leave these here.

Thanks for making a GT thread .
Yep, they damaged it pretty good.
Yea I saw these yesterday. For being the 1st version to ever showcase the dynamic damage system, this looks awesome! Cannot wait to see the final version of the game![]()
So sick that it is actually different every time you crash, not just switching textures ala most racing games with damage.
shouldn't that be on fire?
Do Ferraris have fiberglass bumpers?
"Duty, Honor, Country"
Shouldn't they have Eddie Griffin in the driver's seat?
Damage Physics.
I don't care.
wow.... they must have just now started the damage physics research? they just took the world of video gaming back to the year 2000..... the piece of toilet paper that i flush every morning looks more realistically damaged than that....
ps: thumbs up to ferrari for finaly making Play-dough bodies! those should be a breeze to fix.

I think some are forgetting there are over 1000 cars in the game, 200 of which are getting damage physics... and also are forgetting damage physics have been in production for the game for well under 2 years. Not to mention the breathtaking detail on the car models... Honestly, from a dev. standpoint, the damage physics they're outputting are rather impressive to say the least.
Wait, at first I thought that was distortion from the camera. Is that really how the damage is going to look? If so...They should have cut their losses and left it off.
Its not bad considering the PS3 is running on such antiquated technology.
who cares, just release the damn game already.

pics were all taken with cell phone cameras... some look rather odd and unrealistic, others look great.
