Greddy 3 Row Type-R FMIC Install problem

Trying to use the information on MKIV.com to get this done, but we are having caouple problems. Here are the instructions to reference: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/gre...greddy3row.pdf

For installation step 3-3, the picture stinks and we can't quite figure out the proper way to install the provided bracket for the Hood Lock Wires and the A/C Sight Glass. We can make it work, but it just doesn't seem quite right. A photo of the top side of a properly installed FMIC would help a lot. Unfortunately the install photo's on MKIV.com did not have a downward photo.

Second problem, the Core seems to be hitting the passenger side hood latch. Again we can probably make this work, but the instructions do not say anything about this being in the way, so perhaps we are doing something wrong. Anyone else run into this?

anyhow, OP, can you post any photos, i think i can help you IF i can see what you are running into....i doubt that the latch is actually hitting the IC itself so there must be something else going on. i only ever installed one of these at it was a loooong time ago but i vaugely remember that the bracket you are talking about. it is T shaped and mounts to the car in the center and the sight glass mounts to the right side, back side of bracket, and the hood latch mech mounts to the left side but on the front side of the bracket. by back side of the bracket i mean towards the engine and the front side towards the bumper cover. hope this helps, try to post pics, this way we can be sure of what we are referring to here.
