you can spend 10-20 grand on a Supra but not 35 bucks on a carfax?

If you cant afford to buy a carfax because your THAT broke... you shouldn't be buying an MKIV. No offense seriously, but your setting yourself up for failure if your wiping out all you own to buy a single car. These cars are 15+ years old, and most of them need some sort of maintenance or small repair.
maybe if you posted the ad for the car, someone may know some history on it though? I see your in CT, I know of a silver MKIV at a used car lot for sale near that area thats a disaster and totally misrepresented.
