    Gearboxes and 2JZ-GTE's

Interested particularly in transaxles... Has anyone at all heard of the use of the supra motor in a mid-engine setup? Exploring reasonable gearbox possibilities with the motor in the middle of the car...
    Thanks!

    question? what is your intent?
The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

A GTE in a GTM factory five chassis... Its a mid-engine rear wheel drive car. Just curious if there was someone who has mated the 2J to a particular transaxle before........

There was a guy that did a 2jz in a DeLorean a while back. I think his thread is the other car section. Might try looking that up.

    Edit: Searched for you.

Every GTM i've seen has had either a sbc or an ls in it with a porsche transaxle mated to it. I would guess if they can mate a Turbo 400 or 4lxxe up to a 2j and knowing that all gm v8's use the same bellhousing pattern i'm sure a porsche transaxle can be made to fit in there given the right minds are behind the project .

Kenedy engineering should be able to make you a conversion kit. I am unsure of what the clutch will hold though.
