You're tapping my knowledge now. Does the igf come off of the coil packs or the ignitor?

The igniter uses the confirmation signals of the coils to send the IGF to the ecu. So the answer is both.

Battery keeps dying. I'm gonna have to buy a battery charger. But I am getting the same signal from my resistor to my injectors. 2.5v on battery 2.5 on resistor and injectors. I just noticed something today. My coolant sensor isn't hooked up. The connector broke and my buddy just twisted the two wires together....... I don't know if that would be my problem. I know the coolant sensor is one of the fail safe plugs but Idk if twisting it together and closing the circuit would matter. I'm ordering another connector.

Yes, the coolant temp sensor can in fact cause some of the problems you have described. I don't know why you ordered the connector though. I just bought one at Oreilys for about 10 dollars.

I called them. I may have not been specific enough but I need the connector not the sensor. They don't have the connector.

Yeah, the one I bought was for an IS300 I think and they use the same connector as our cars.

Oh ok I see. Yea I had the guy check all toyota connectors for coolant sensor. He had the sensor to test with. None matched up.

Ok progress has been made. I bought a new connector from toyota and wired it in today. It fires up everytime I crank but won't stay running. RMP gauge works too. Where to look now?

Probably a silly question at this point, but have you rechecked all your grounds?

I have a question, does it start then die immediately? Also have you tried starting and giving it gas instantly, therefore keeping it running until you let off and it dies?
