7 MGTE block, 5M head (port and polished), TRD cams, 5M 0.40 over pistons,shaved block and head = 10.5 to 1 comp. and 227psi per cylinder, all held together with ARP hardware.
3" CP racing intake, custom header with 3" Y pipe into 2 1/2" stainless straight pipe to a Magna flow super turbo muffler. All equalling 14.7 @ 93.6 mph in the quarter mile.

Im trying to get the thing working and looking perfect inside and out before I do any mods. The paint doesnt look that nice anymore due to a series of freak happenings.
1.Car was stolen...when I got it back front bumper was cracked and chipped
2.The day after I got it back I was rear ended by a delivery guy reading a map, and the rear bumper was cracked and chipped.
3.It was hit in a parking lot by what seems like a pickup truck and now has a large head sized dent with long scrapes along the passenger side door and rear quarter panel.
4.Then!!! Last night at the market, My girlfriends aunt nudged a shopping cart that was on the sidewalk in front of my car, and the Sonofabitch rolled off the curb and flipped onto my hood leaving 2 golf ball sized dents and scrapes on the panel where the logo and headlight washers are.
All this and Ive only had this paint job for about 7 months.
I wish I had a beater that I could drive around everyday.

I have an '82 P-type. Arizona car until '96 when I bought it. Paint is dead, interior's dead, body is excellent. Quit driving it last year because the valve train needs to be redone but I would rather uprgrade the engine to a '89-'92 7M-GTE motor. Have to wait until I'm done with college though.
