New ADV.1 3pc wheels

My brother just emailed these to me. These wheels look realllllly nice. And fuck only 19lbs each !!?! I bet these will be big $$

I'm diggin the ADV05 and I think would look so sexy on an MKIV.

Quote:

Theyre AS LIGHT as 19lb. Some 18x11.5's would weight quite a bit more, but I imagine theyre probably still be relatively lightweight.

I like the ADV5.2 alot. What does a set of these generally go for?

I'm like the ADV10 style.

It would look nice on a Supra.

wow. They look incredible. Like most others, need to see the actual wheel. Odds are they'll be I-Forge prices though.

My 17x11.5 and 18 x 10.5 CCW Classics were both just about 20lbs each. (mine are swiss cheesed)

19 are too big for performance on a supra IMHO.

umm for performance (ie racing) wouldn't you have a seperate set of wheels, smaller?

Or put another way, I would not want to drag race on 18" or auto-x with them either.

Exactly, if I was going to the track I'd have a set of 15" wheels with some DRs or slicks like I currently have and something like this for the street so it looks good and doesn't have to weigh 50lbs per wheel.

But if the CCWs only weigh a couple more pounds each I think I like the way they look better where I'd be willing to give a few lbs. up.

tons of people RR and Auto-X the CCW 18F 17R setup.

The CCW classic setup is by far the most popular racing setup.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are saying but it sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about.

And performance dos not = drag racing good god it’s a supra not a mustang people.
