Shogun-Machida 2 date set for May 1st in Montreal.

also, welcome to the Aldo era. don't see anyone beating him at 145 anytime soon. i'd like to see him defend the 45 title a few times then move up to 55 and into the UFC to fight BJ. that'd be a barn burner.

Surprised that GSP will not headline an event in Montreal. Machida better be ready for them kicks again.

i've never liked Karo. especially hated him on his TUF appearance when he tried to pick a fight with Nate Diaz. i'd like to see him fight Nick again, maybe he'll go to strikeforce or something and that'll happen.

I liked Karo back when I didnt hear his drama and he would just put on good fights. His Judo was amazing and it was a sight to see it in action...However, as time goes by, his drama seems to grow more and more, his excuses, his lack of discipline, etc. etc. and now he becomes an embarassment to the sport and to the UFC.

I dont think he belongs in the UFC. I think a place like strikeforce would suit him much better where his competition would be a bit more equal and they would put up with his shit because theyd have to.

Ortiz and Griffin was awesome. Forrest did a great job against Tito's takedowns and his striking looked to be a lot more accurate. I was surprised to see a split decision, though. I felt the 3rd round was a no-brainer as to Forrest's aggression.

one of the judges still found a way to score the fight 30-27 for Ortiz.

i think they're just fucking with people now. scoring fights so blatantly wrong on purpose just to spark conversation.

also, i want to see Hardy fight Kos. that'd be fun.

Um no. They scored it 30-27 for Griffin. Pay attention.

Glenn Trowbridge: 29-28 Ortiz
Lester Griffin: 30-27 Griffin
Marcos Rosales: 29-28 Griffin

Some of the most blatant rules violations I've seen in a while, counting the prelims and main card.

PS - Ben Saunders has a very nasty Thai clinch.

Little Nog looked pretty good taking Cain out quite easily. The card wasn't that bad really... much better than many other past cards.

I think the Ortiz fight was fixed just like the machida fight. Ortiz gave away the third round on purpose, it was very obvious his entire style changed and he only threw three punches the whole round. Just covered up and took pitty pat punches that scored. Now there is a rubber match and everyone gets another payday.

The WEC card was far better and free Jose Aldo is fucking nasty at 145

I remember Karo when I use to see him at judo tournaments. His game was very high level. He would destroy everyone in his weight class including a very capable guy from my school, I was in WOW mode. He was very quiet but very very confident almost in a big-headed way. I thought to myself he is cocky but he can surely back it up. He started training from very young with A class coaches. Now it seems that all the hype and ego is cracking him and throwing him off his game.

i meant to say Griffin. my bad.

there's no way that was a 30-27 fight. the first round was a toss-up, second was clearly a Tito round, he beat the shit out of Forrest. third was clearly a Forrest round. Tito was gassed and did nothing, Forrest peppered him for the whole 5 minutes.

I love watching that show just to see/hear what Rampage is going to do next.. lol.

Titties, black mummy, shit he says to/about Rashad, especially the one where Rashad was mouthing Rampage and Quentin basically told Rashad to blow him/suck him. I forget the exact wording. That's been the highlight of this season for me, except with how quick Marcus got that armbar... I still watch it and am impressed.
