Poor Cote ...I just dont see any possible way he can overcome the intensity of the Spider

On a side note, I REALLY would love to see Thiago Alves kick the ever living shit out of Diego Sanchez

Dude, seriously..who the fuck keeps taking this off a sticky and why?

and yeah, i hate diego sanchez...he just reminds me of your typical Chode who carries a fake ass personality and is a whiner when shit doesnt go his way. Everytime I see him lose fights, I smile.

Diego's with one of the old ring girls... I will give him props on that girl as she's probably the best looking one they've had.

ULTIMATE FIGHTER 8 CAST, DETAILS REVEALED

With the debut of the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter around the corner, SI.com on Monday released the roster of athletes that will be featured on the show. Season 8 of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Spike TV’s popular reality series hits the airwaves at 10 p.m. ET on Sept. 17 following UFC Fight Night in Omaha, Neb.

Breaking from Season 7’s formula of 32 fighters in one weight class, the upcoming edition of the series returns to 16 fighters in each of two weight classes. The weight classes featured on Season 8 are the 155-pound lightweight division and the 205-pound light heavyweight division.

The upcoming season will be similar to Season 7 in one regard though. The cast will initially start out with 32 fighters who, over the course of the first two episodes on Sept. 17 and 24, will have to fight and win their spots among the final 16 that make it into the Ultimate Fighter house.

Once the finalists have established themselves after week-to-week competition throughout the season, the final two in each weight class will meet in the Octagon on Dec. 13 for the live Ultimate Fighter Season 8 Finale on Spike TV.

UFC interim heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will coach one of the teams. The other team features former titleholder Frank Mir as its head coach.

Though no official announcements have been made in regards to assistant coaches, there is heavy speculation that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and light heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida will assist Nogueira, while Mir is expected to be assisted by Abu Dhabi submission champion Robert Drysdale and Wanderlei Silva conditioning coach Rafael Alejarra.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. I didn't realize it was Mark you were talking about. I have heard that Mark was going to be back in the UFC but he isn't listed as a contestant for TUF 8.

Looks like we have to wait til Jan. 31 for GSP vs. Penn, Dana just announced it. GSP has been saying he needed a break from taining.

Rumored upcoming fights: Lesnar vs. Kongo and Rampage vs. Wand or possibly Rampage vs. Shogun.

Wand vs. Rampage III must happen!

SPIKE OFFERS FREE ON-LINE MMA VIDEO GAME

Link to the game from article: (Haven't played it yet....I'm at work)
http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/...6942&zoneid=13

A longtime supporter of mixed martial arts beginning with the popular UFC reality series “The Ultimate Fighter,” Spike TV this week released its own on-line mixed martial arts video game entitled “MMA Training Ground.”

According to a spokesman for Spike, “MMA Training Ground is a prime example of the content that Spike.com wants to create for MMA fans to establish them as a leader in entertainment on the web and prove their commitment to creating a unique element for fans to enjoy.”

The game leads the player through learning fighting skills – from punching to kicking to takedowns to submission – en route to a full on fight. You have to master one skill-set, such as punching, before moving on to the next, unlocking each category as it is conquered, before finally being eligible to fight.

Of course, MMA Training Ground isn’t quite on the same graphical level as many home gamers are used to on powerful systems such as PlayStation, Xbox, or Wii, but it shouldn’t be expect to be as a free on-line offering.

As The Ultimate Fighter is gearing up for its eighth season, Spike has steadily been ramping up its mixed martial arts offerings. Along with the reality series and UFC Fight Night events on television, Spike has long had video content online and recently added fighter blogs and now MMA Training Ground, all geared towards capturing the attention of MMA fans.

Finally, Guam will be somewhat on the map... We have some very good talent on this island and hopefully Joe Duarte will bring some recruits to Dana... Look out for Joe because Dana White is already saying he may become the next Anderson "Spyder" Silva...
