Finally saw one in person. (Actually one of two). One was track car, the other the "to and from track" car. Thing will be an awesome platform!

Hood doesn't look that bad. It's not near what it was made out to be. However, I wasn't aware that the rocker panels get shipped seperately.

After following SW's post and having his photo account bookmarked and meeting him at SILV. I can say without a doubt... whatever he does to that car will look good and clean. We've got very similiar taste, now post some pics of that Miata

Owned by a guy known as "Taz" by any chance? I met him at a local track and based on his garage it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did this...

Stevenh,

Yup, that's him. He's an awesome guy through an through. I see him out at the track often whenever I get out there. His other cars are works of art. Great taste, classy guy.

Haha, I'm not surprised. I've only met him once, but he was a really cool and down to earth guy that was nice enough to show my Mom around his garage and explain some of his cars to her when I took her out to a track event. Some of my buddies have a garage up the way from him and were trying to convince me to buy his yellow C5 Z06 a little while back.

Was talking to Brembo and they said the brakes at this point are made specific to the Z06, any adaptation to another vehicle would require a complete reman of the brake system, and vehicle dynamics to make work. Definitely a ton of technology put into just the braking system as well as the car.

The real question is, with the stock wheels removed to show the brakes, which HRE's are going on to replace them ?

Just a quick note, those blingy rims that some don't like look pretty good sans the chrome, here's a grey one

SW, why you holding out on us? When did you get the wheels? And most importantly when are you taking the beast out to the track?

The ZR1 is officially the car that I lust after the most that is ALMOST within reach for me

And that GTR is SICK as well
