Special thanks to Alex, VRAlexander!!

I just wanted to personally thank Alex for hauling my blk hardtop to Las Vegas for me after the Texas Mile. HRE decided they wanted it for a booth at SEMA and my regular guy could not take it. I talked to Alex and he personally drove from Houston to Austin, picked up my car, took it to Vega and is handling getting my car to the show. Thanks again, you really have gone beyond what most would do. I will see you in a few days.

He also lent Tommy Banh his driveshaft at the TX Mile after Amit's driveshaft broke...not to mention SW, you used his wheels/tires for the 241.8 mph pass. Very cool guy and very willing to help out...

I must say that the car drives BETTER than a factory Supra. It is very hard to realize that you have more that 1500hp under your right foot!!!! Congrats on a very well put together car!!

Call me whatever you want, but there is no way in hell that SW's Supra drives 'better' then a factory Supra. If you want to argue this point, define 'better' first..

VRAlexander's DICTIONARY definition of a better Supra:

bet-ter :  [bet-er] Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective, compar. of good with best as superlor.
1. of superior quality to a stock Supra or excellence over a stock Supra: a better Supra; a better vehicle.
2. morally superior; more virtuous: They are no better; more boost.
3. of superior suitability, advisability, desirability, acceptableness, etc.; preferable: a better time from point a to point b.
4. larger; greater: the better part of a woman melting in the passenger seat of the Supra.
5. improved in power, cornering and stability; bet-ter than before.

The use in context:
SW's Supra will better hand the ass of the twin-turbo ***** to its owner than the NOS busa.

Ok, I agree if 'better' is used in that aspect. Hell, if that was the definition of better, then almost Supra on here is better then a stock Supra. To me, and most others here, 'drives better' would mean that it's easier to live with in day to day life in traffic, steep driveways, etc.

The car is totally awesome, probably the baddest car on the forum. Hell, I've seen it in real life (under previous ownership) and could have probably worked on it if I wanted to (yeah, really). But to me, it, along with my Corvette and any car that has 2-3-4-5 x'd the factory horsepower, it does not drive 'better' then factory.

This is a quick review on the 2008 October Texas Mile. Records where shattered and cars broke. Everyone that could pitch in to help did. I want to thank Ryan for donating parts to try to make my car run for another pass. In turn after I blew, I donated parts to Amit's car so it could make it run. Check out some Supraforums.com threads for more on this story. March will be fun because Peter's TX2K9 event which will gather the best of the best!

Glad to see us sticking together.

AZmongoose, did you really just state that how a car acts on a steep driveway defines if it drives better or not? LOL

Every time I see SW's hard top. I envision a F-22 raptor at full burn with classical music playing in the cockpit.
