Lol I know right? It seems like everyone is going turbo right now.

BTW, is there a forum you're NOT on? I saw you get into an argument on scionlife and I lmao'd at the "rods have the integrity of paper towels" comment.

Thanks guys!

And that's a negatory on the coolant bottle. I tried to fit it, but the IC is just barely too much in the way. I'm gonna fiddle with the piping a little this summer and get it to sit a few more inches forward, then move the bottle back, and maybe move the battery to the trunk too.

I have a Supra MKIV Auto TT LSD for my SC and it was relatively inexpensive and easy to install. However, some of us in MD don't like it because they like taller gears for being able to go 0-60 in 30 seconds with a top speed of 300mph Personally I think it is great!

Its just the "home depot lip" (rubber garage door weatherstripping) My IC piping hangs pretty low and the "lip" just barely covers it lol.

well it looks great, i'm thinking about how i'm gonna solve that intercooler piping problem. I've got the origin kit on mine as of now, but i'm hoping to pick up a 97+ bumper and a lip that will let the origin sides flow well enough with the 97 bumper, thinking maybe big-win.

Beautiful SC, I've always loved the body style, and such a good home for the 1J. Props on your swap. I was lucky, my Yamaha tuned 1J pearl came stock from the factory in my Soarer, saving me a bit of effort. I really need to take some pics though one of these days...

Here's a link to some good reads for us 1JZ owners, in-case you run into some "why not a 2JZ GTE ? The 1J is inferior." mis-informed members of the majority... (great technical read)

I second that... My friend just blew the rod and piston right out the bottom of his Xb due to one of those "paper towel con rods" POS never would have guessed.
