Checkout the video me & Jay posted one page back showing a few different SUV's maneuvering, Range & H2 included. Not even the same type of vehicle man. I'm not knocking a Range, because I'd drive one to work and back, but this thread went from a guy's new H2 purchase, to Hummer's are teh ghey & are pitiful offroad, etc--- to a Range Rover is by far a better choice. I mean WTF? [not directed at Brewster] If you hate Hummer's that bad, go hop in your CRV hybrid and drive up to a tree and buttfuck it.

From the factory not much can touch a Hummer, no doubt.

I agree, it looked to be a ground clearance game, but I can't tell you how many times I've seen ditzy bitches stick there Range Rover's in a field of wet grass.
One time me and 3 of my friends wrapped a tow strap around us and literally pulled the truck out of what it was spinning on top of.

That's like me posting the following video and trying to pass it off as proof that Hummers suck off-road: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/R...c-I_107705.htm An H1 is far above a Range Rover off-road. But an H2 is not better than an RR. They are both good street trucks with off-road capabilities but it's not hard to get the RR or the H2 stuck. I actually off-road my RR sometimes alone and other times in a group and I've NEVER had issues getting stuck or clearing anything an H2 has been able to and vice versa. The only thing I will give the Hummer over the Range Rover is reliability and that's only comparing 03-05. An 06+ Range is every bit as if not more reliable than a Hummer. I'm not saying the Hummer sucks, and maybe I'm alone when I make this statement, I just think the Range Rover is more refined and offers a much better driving experience. To me its like the comparison of a 996 turbo vs. a C5 Z06 or an E46 M3 vs CTS-V (gen 1). All 4 of the cars listed are great cars but I'm more of a 996 turbo/E46 M3 guy. |

Like I said, I'm not biased to either--I'd rock both of them, but the H2 is a stronger truck, better in ACTUAL off road situations, and more reliable. That alone is enough reason to justify me picking an H2 over the Range. HOWEVER, the Range is probably THE nicest SUV on the market. Both make the panties drop though, it's proven. Thought I'd pull this out. No one in this thread has or is disagreeing with that statement.... the whole discussion was geared towards the haters dropping in and calling the H2 a joke off road. I for one, know that the Range is through and through a much nicer and refined vehicle. Everytime I hear my door panels creak, I'd rather be in a Range Rover.

The video you posted is BS and completely biased. Half of the tests that the H2 were superior in were simply due to the wheel/tire combo. The G is a beast with proper tires. Where is the 4Runner? The FJ? Landcruiser? Those are only the Toyotas... |

I have also driven the H2 SUT or whatever the heck is called. For the record I am "bashing" the glorified Colorado (H3) not the H2.

Mine is desert silver with 35" tires and all black accessories, with no big wheels or chrome accents planned. Not exactly blang'n. I also pull stuck Range Rover's out of the mud every now and then, but I make the bitches hook up the tow strap, so I don't get my kicks dirty--gotta keep that swagga.

It's cool. The car's people drive speak volumes for their personality no matter what you type. Just don't act like there aren't much better vehicles suited to what you need it for or for off road endeavors. You have spent so much time trying to convince everyone in this thread that you bought it for more than that it's gat the mos swagga. |

I think he is.
And to the wankster/air force ones/ufc? mma?/tapout reference. Way too much work and thought went into your post my friend. I think I'm going to pull the race card out. I'm about the whitest kid you know. Pic for reference? ![]() ![]() I bought a Hummer H2 because I tow watercraft and 7 people who enjoy them, attend many gun meets, deer hunt on my land, frequently need luggage space, off road for fun, etc, etc, etc. & hopefully it's towing my new SC300 turbo build to TX2K10. Not many vehicles do all of the things I get into with as much ease, comfort, and reliability. Of the select few that do, they don't touch an H2 off road STOCK FOR STOCK. The H2 rides on 35" tires, plenty of ground clearance, and a lot of options that are incredible for the outdoor lifestyle, that ALL the haters never really know about. Onboard air compressor [that is used for tire airups and various water sport needs, heated seating for all occupants, excellent stock recovery systems directly into the frame, and plenty of power tow. I have not done a single upgrade to my truck and it performs well for what I need. It get's shitty gas mileage, but so does a Chevy 2500HD [non Diesel]--a comparable vehicle. Of all places, Supra Forums, is getting onto fellow members for getting the "bad boy" of the lineup or model. It's rediculous.
