Those things made great coasters. The AOL discs, not the birds.

No one probably remembers the AOL floppy discs before the AOL CD's came out. I think you would count as a senior member if you remember that lol.

You know what? I think I actually have one of those in an issue of Gamepro, when I was a subscriber of that one, around 1996 or so. That's something I haven't thought of in a VERY long time...

Oh mannnn... right in the nostalgia. lol

    50megs...

Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself. Question authority. (Timothy Leary)

Right there with ya bud. I wouldn't be making fun if I didn't remember how the internet used to be. I wish my computer still made funny noises when I launched my browser. Hmm... gotta be an extension that does that... BRB.

I still own the black 89 that I bought when I was in high school back in the summer of 2005. Swapped a 7mgte into it. Here I am all these years later trying to decide if I should keep it and go 1j or 2j or just get rid of it. I am on the fence every day.

Damn I used to troll these forums back when I was like 15 in 2008 when I got my first car which was an 89 MK3. Zumtizzle might remember me. I've had 5 MK3s since then and a bunch more RHD automobiles since I'm in Canada and they're easy to import. Sucks the import scene has completely dried up. I'm still living the JDM dream driving a Soarer right meow, but still, it sucks that the cars and all the car meets and enthusiasts have pretty much vanished. I'll be driving these cars until I kick the bucket.

Nice to see some senior members still present and accounted for. I'm senior on several other make boards and as a new guy it's great to know the depth of help and insights that will come to bear on this project. Joined today. Just dragged an 88 Supra Targa NA home that has not run in 18 years. I think the engine's toast (parked due to HG 18 years ago) as if the mechanic that gave them this diagnosis did not find a way to dry the cylinders then it will never run again. Will see. Soaking in MMO for a week now and will try to hand crank after we pull the head.

Lots of grey hair, lots of fun cars in my garage and every one of them has been "built, not bought". Regards, Doug

Not sure if I'm a senior but I've had my supra for 10 years now. Garage queen for the first two years. After that I drove it every summer until 3 or 4 years ago when I started with my paint job where I'm doing everything myself. Lots and lots of colorsanding. But it's starting to go back together now, hope to drive it this summer 😋
