Ok ladies and gents!
Last year I became the owner of a 1994 Supra TT. The car has been in heated storage since October and it's got another 6 months in the pokey before she can stretch her legs.
I'll be picking her up December 31st and heading into the USA at midnight on the new year. Starting 2019 off with boost.
Now, since this is a long voyage and she aint young, I'd like to take some precautions before I hit the road and also make sure some members are close in case of emergency!
I'll be crossing through in Montana I believe. Then keeping a straight line until about Chicago before curving around those lakes to NY.
Any tips and tricks, Triple AAA? Places to visit and indispensable tools any of you guys/gals have used during a road trip will no doubt come in handy here. I'll be wanting to stick with name brand gas to eliminate any variables on that table. Kinda curious about the laws on shotguns across state lines as well since a pistol permit for my travels will be hell to get.
I want to travel there light, BUT if I can secure the tools I need locally when I land then that would be preferred. Ill be updating this thread with pictures as I go.
Car is currently BPU, so it's not that stressed. I'm thinking about doing an oil change and fuel dump before heading out.
Here is the Google drive link for all the pics and parts I currently have for her.
