    PGS Transmissions Toyota R154 Gearsets???

    Hey guys,

Has anyone in here actually used or know any one who has used this?

    They claim up to 1000HP

I'd like to hear reviews and how well they are holding up / quality of shifting etc to some higher HP / track cars? higher HP/tq = 600ft/tq and higher.

"To help address the other shortcomings of the R154, PGS offers a complete hybrid billet fork set with lifetime warranty for each gearset, as well as upgraded 1st gear thrust washers. "

they're asking 4,550.00 - Which is what Grannas MK3 Supra T56 Magnum swap kit (2JZ MKIII JZA70) sells for.

    Thoughts?

Yes, 220 on here has one in his MK2

I'm likely also going with a PGS straight cut dog tooth gear set in my 1000hp time attack build, either that or a Sequential setup

PGS has yet to have one fail so if thats any idea for you.

    Would recommend.

Highly recommend. Customer service is outstanding.

Nick is correct, and is building a beast of a car. I think that Smiley White MK3 is running one, but cannot confirm. He's in the 1400hp club with one I think.

Jared at Speedforsale is an excellent source for PGS parts and does work I trust and recommend.

V160 guys, PGS has a HD dog gear set now too.
