"LHD TT 6-spd sport roof; not a $170k one but you know, a normal one"

If I could do it all over again I would have kept my both of my lower mileage (50K) LHD original 6 speed sport roof cars. Instead I sold the 1995 red on black and kept the black on tan 1994, which I'm happy with. I'll probably get a GTR next year instead of racking up miles on the supra.

I got my "dream" car 5 years ago....Wanted 1 since 2004. But had to settle for it being a Auto NA. Quicksilver HT FTW,. My *new* Supra to add to my corral is a 1994 Black TT Auto with 19K Miles (30kmh). Problem with these low mile cars, it is hard to just "drive"it lol. The interior smells new, dash is pristine. Even the HVAC buttons a pure white!. Do love the grey carpet and seats. Wish TTs LHD had these in the day.

I just did this. I picked up a rough tt 6-spd targa. Bit of a restoration project but still works as a dd.

My first Supra that I got back in around 2010 was a 1997 Black Twin Turbo 6 speed with fairly low miles, 48K to be exact when I got. Unfortunately, that car was involved in 2 minor front end collisions and had it's flaws. I was constantly striving to make it perfect, buying new oem parts and replacing things here and there (I have a bad case of OCD). Eventually, I ended up selling that car to look for a cleaner example. This was the summer of 2015. By July 2016, I have found the one. It was a 1994 Renaissance Red TT 6MT, fully stock, no stories of any kind, with only 23K on the ODO. The hunt was over! Or so I thought...

Long story short, I ended up selling that car 2 years later, in the summer of 2018. Why may you ask? I couldn't bring myself to enjoy that car. I finally got what I wanted all this time, but realized it isn't for me. I felt bad racking up the miles. I was constantly worried about someone rear ending me or something that is out of my control. Add in the fact that more and more parts are getting discontinued, I ultimately decided to sell the car.

To this day, I do not regret selling the Red one, but I DO REGRET selling the Black one. That car to me now, is perfect. Something I could enjoy without worrying too much. I have gotten myself a 2018 GT-R Premium to fill the void for now and absolutely love it, but I do still frequent SF from time to time. My heart is with the MKIV, but my mind is now on the GT-R.

I am still browsing for MKIV's almost daily, hoping that one appears within a certain set budget and criteria. It seems that the prices have risen a lot within last year or two, and the search gets harder and harder. Ideally, I would love another TT 6MT that isn't too low miles, but also isn't too high either, probably in the range of 50K-100K miles, All Vins, and either Stock-BPU-Well Built single in that preference.

Long gone are the days of finding these cars for a "steal".

    Would you buy red again?

If I could do it all over again, I'd have ordered the only RSP Hardtop ever made in 1998. I just found it, talked to the owner, he's going to restore. So I'll just stick with my 97 RSP Hardtop. It's the only way to get the color I want with the roof I want so....

Full weight 6 speed swap, car weighs 3180. Love it.

Yeah, that's exactly perfect - no doubt about it my friend.

TT 6 speed targa mid-to-high mileage or TT 6 speed JDM as fuck. These cars are ultra reliable, might as well save money. Also for those who are wrench savvy can fix up a beat up car with issues and make it like new again. Unicorns kind of suck because of the rarity and the prestige that comes with it not to mention the price tag. Has to be babied even more.
