Error Code 63, automatic transmission bad shifting

    Hello and good evening

For a long time I have now the problem with the Error code 63.

Defective no2 shift solenoid or shirt circuit severed wire harness or shirt circuit.

I checked my SLD, Oil ... and everything is fine.

Before i check the shift solenoids inside the tranny, where should i check if it is just a wire problem...
Do you know which pin it would be to check at the ecu ?
Or any other tips and ideas to check before i open the tranny...

Thank you in advance and have a nice weekend

I cant remember if this is the code that also caused my auto headache years ago. Try and see if your cruise control works or not. Or you can put your cruise control in diagnostic mode and see whether ecu is seeing speed of the car consistently. If not then you might have a short in the ODO causing this problem. I reheated the solder for the ODO several times over the years to correct he problem.

Hi and thanks for your answer. headache would be nice. Meanwhile, this topic is worse for me than diarrhea 🙂 How can I put my cruise control in diagnosis? Thanks and have a nice Sunday.
