    Reintroducing myself...

    Dave Koos
    Mesa, AZ

Formerly 'Suprattop' on here, but had to re-register as my old e-mail address for that s/n was deactivated.

Sold my panda '84 P-type a few years back. Currently own a black '86 P-type that suffered a minor electrical fire in Nov 2010 (alternator overloaded & fried the harness). Haven't attempted to repair it just yet. Also have a blue '86 P-type that's just about bone stock. I've moved over the JDK V2 short-throw shifter, front & rear STB's and the 17" ROH Snyper wheels from the black '86.

Oh, and I still have my blue '92 Turbo that I bought in Oct 1998 !!!

Originally, I contemplated the whole 2JZ motor swap deal, but I never thought I would be able to get a car as clean and well-maintained as this one. I've got a fairly extensive resto-mod program I'm developing, but it will enhance the car's originality, IMO, not detract from it. With only 54,722 miles at the time I took delivery, the car has all the parts that have been discontinued over the years and they are in excellent condition. I hope to accomplish some old school "BPU" mods like headers and an exhaust. The car already has an intake and I have the OEM intake as well and will be retaining all the OEM parts (wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, etc.) as I change them out. I love driving it. It's like going back in time.

    Ken.
