Some company needs to step up to make these pieces or theres going to be an awful lot of cars sitting in the garage for the rest of existence.

Won't even be able to drive them soon as you will be waiting forever to locate that vital part to keep it going.

Here's the thing... the panels can always be refinished very close to oem and with a more durable finish. This really will only affect the picky and purists. Just my opinion.

But what about mechanical? Cosmetic pieces obviously aren't major but I'm talking parts that mark the car run and function.

After contacting and working with Getrag, they've made it clear they have no desire to ever reproduce V160/V161 parts. They went as far to indicate the tooling specific to the transmission has been recycled. We are continuing working on solutions for repairing the V160.

Limited inventory of parts, no counter shafts that I am aware of. Several other gears are no longer available.

I have a new in bag label I bought years ago, but I could never bring myself to use it. I keep it as part of my parts collection, but feel free to make an offer

I had my car at Toyota today actually and I just reused the old lid. Kept the original broken console too.

The TRD strut bar seems to be discontinued. As far as I can tell, all TRD parts for the Supra are NLA except the radiator cap. The Supra does not even appear as one of the platforms on the TRD Japan website anymore.

The TRD strut bar has come back in stock after US inventory went to zero (probably replenished from stock in Japan).

On a side note, the center exhaust heat shield is discontinued.

Do you know what the difference is between the 2 types and will the 98s work with previous year models?

There are no differences between the arms, other than the rubber hardness of the bushings. All the 93-96 arms used a slightly higher duro rubber.
