for timing its simple:
1-make sure the crankshaft pulley is set at zero mark, when you do this make sure the marks on the camshaft pulleys face up, if they are not you have to go back and reinstall the tiiming belt correctly making sure before installing the belt that the crank pully is at zero and the camshaft marks face up.

2-after everything is positioned correctly install the distributor is such a way that the rotor faces the #1 position on the cap when you come to bolt it up to the dizzy
