Apparently it did not. Maybe if you use a bigger hose but my problem went away after I hooked it back up to a source of vacuum.
I guess I will hook it back up to a vacuum as well and hope for the best on my new upgraded turbo. Don't want to mess this new one up.

Try relocating your catch can to a cooler location or making a heat shield around it as well, just noticed it is almost right over the turbo/downpipe. This of course goes as a 2nd to IJs recomendation to check if there is excess pressure in the crank case.
I have taken care of the excess crankcase pressure as of this moment. I didnt like the mounting place at all but I couldnt find anywhere else. I am in the process of making a heat shield though. I would also like to just take the big hose that comes off the block for the PCV system and route it into a catch can but dont know how well that would work.

Oh and the next time I post a thread, believe me its not directed at you, I don't want your help or advice or whatever else comment you decide to write when your not watching bonanza.
Where Ian comes from, they watch the "Wiggles" and "Man from snowy river" , no Bonanza

Sorry couldn't help myself....

What do you mean "when" you where a kid? You grew up?:)

Ok I just got my 57T upgrade back and installed it. I also reconnected the hose to the intake manifold off the catch can so hopefully I won't have any pressure problems. Just need some brake fluid and I can take it out for a test ride. :)
Seems to run good with -20 vacuum so that is all good. I have a small exhaust leak that I got to fix also. The darn flange is wore out. I have a new 3in one that I am going to get hooked up.

Ok I got problems now, I installed the new 57T turbo and everything runs fine. I hooked up the catch can back to the initial source of vacuum like Captian did. I went out and took it for a ride and after breaking in the turbo for a few miles I boosted to about 5 psi. As soon as I let off the gas I got blue smoke everywhere. Does anybody know what I should check now? I don't want to mess this new turbo up.

Sorry to tag on to your post Captain
