      Lighting threads might be as controversial as oil threads, if not worse.

      For my money, a good HID retrofit with PROPER HID projectors with a nice low temp bulb (~3500k ish) is about as good as you can do these days, with a nice DOT rated set of amber fogs for inclement weather.

      That said, I've got a set of H4 housings already, I'll probably be building a relay for and running with a nice set of Osram super-brights to replace the junk sealed beams for now. Low cost way to improve lighting significantly.

      Those OSRAM bulbs are off-road only though, so I'd be concerned about blinding folks on the road if they're that bright.
