    First, you can remove the Auto ribbon as it does nothing anymore. The "3rd" harness plug still snaps in just to keep it out of the way. If the tach acts as you say, it might be due to an incompatible tach. NA doesn't work TT and TT doesn't work NA. If you are now a TT then check the color code...

    In a nutshell...Use the USA method. And yes, JDM system is slightly different and the way they route to the EBV area is wrong. Best is to use the cap off and run the controller in between the #1 turbo nipple and the upper facing Actuator nipple. Cap off the downward facing nipple. Simple as can be.

    I do this almost every night. Taking a NA Auto to a TT 6sp cost 3 cents + the cost of a 6sp face if you can find one. Just make sure you use the correct resistor (1K)

    Final update. As it turned out I had both Throttle and Main ECU bad. I bought 3 used Throttle ECUs which fixed one issue. Today I got another main ECU and now all is FINALLY working.
