It really sucks - the original plan was a TRD rear, but the earliest we could get it was in october - and that was back in august that we were looking for one!!! That is ridiculous.

Ok, awesome - I'll tell Max to rebuild the mk3 diff before installation then. That should do the trick I guess. The plan is to run the car at 18psi or so once it gets tuned by SRT, at which time I should be making around 500whp. If your diff. is holding 650, then I should be golden.

The SP cover should actually fit, too, (I've got one sitting in my garage waiting for paint and install) but we need the gte vvti valve covers to make it fit haha. I can't believe they're so hard to source. One moderator on my.is actually suggested having them made. That sounds really expensive.

I'm getting conflicting information with regards to the IS300's stock LSD. Some people are saying that they're good for around 400 foot lbs of torque while others are saying they're good for much more. The mk3 diff is not rebuilt and has at least 60k miles on it. I'm just hoping it will get...

This sucks - why are these covers so hard to get? I have a source, but they want hundreds and hundreds of dollars for them. They're pieces of metal for god's sake.

They should slap right on. I'm in need of these as well. There are a few suppliers I've contacted, but nobody has them in stock and ready to ship.
