Oh man... I'd absolutely love an A.Lange & Sohne Datograph. Unfortunately, it's a tad bit out of my budget right now. ;)

Honestly, I'm done with Zenith for a while... I'm currently looking for another watch manufacturer to collect. I typically gravitate towards time pieces that are significant, unique, and interesting... Any suggestions? Also, you're absolutely right... I desperately need to a winder to house...

Here is my first contribution to the Hobbies forum... This is my Zenith El Primero collection. All three watches feature a power reserve meter as well as open escapement. First up, is the Zenith Defy Classic Open (with black guilloche face): Second up, is the Zenith Port Royal Open (with...
  6. kanye west is a grade a douchecanoe

Kanye West is an ignorant asshole... Plain and simple, no question(s) about it! Yet millions of people apparently make a conscious decision to buy this retard's music; I simply do not understand! It baffles me that Kanye 'the retard' West continues to thrive professionally when he should have...

  8. Men's Watch - advice needed

I'm quite bias, but these are my personal favroites... The El Primero Open series from Zenith (pronounced zen-ith, not zeen-ith) is unique, innovative, diverse, and (perhaps most importantly) well respected by other watch connoisseurs. If that doesn't appeal to you then here are a few...

www.timezone.com... Look under the 'Brand Forums' section where several higher end brands are discussed in great detail. Also, unless you can get a specific recommendations from your brother I would suggest visiting several authorized dealers to get opinions.

  11. Lost to a SRT-8 Jeep....

    Kill Stories
This kill story smells a lot like nitrous and/or forced induction... Did you smell the remnants of nitrous or hear the whine/spool of a super/turbo charger? The Jeep SRT8 is an absolute monster off the line, but it definitely struggles (relatively speaking of course) from freeway speeds. It...
  12. Ran into a 300c SRT8 this morning.

    Kill Stories
Now that the last post is out the way I can get back to having a userful and prodcutive exchange of information over the Internet. :D The 300C SRT8 is not great on gas, but the Jeep is much worse! My wife and I average about: - 300C SRT8 (17-19 MPG) - Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (11-13 MPG)...
  13. Ran into a 300c SRT8 this morning.

    Kill Stories
The 300C SRT8 is by no means as fast as a BPU Supra... But, the 300C SRT8 is fast enough that if a well driven one catches a BPU Supra sleeping the outcome you described is reasonable. Good run nonetheless... I really miss my Supra! :(

Has anyone heard of http://www.lifelock.com/? If so, what are your thoughts, impressions, etc? I am looking to implement some Identity Theft countermeasures, but I want to see what the good folks of SupraForums are using before making any final decisions. :D Thanks.

  19. 2007 Cadillac CTS-V or What?

    Other Cars
I like SRT-8 vehicles myself... I can personally vouch for both the Chrysler 300C SRT8 and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. The 300C SRT8 is a more comfortable vehicle, but the Grand Cherokee SRT8 is definitely more fun to drive.
  20. 300C SRT8 vs. CTS-V

    Other Cars
This is correct... The SRT8's do not have any form of MDS. I was confusing ESP (traction control) with MDS (cylinder de-activiation). Sorry for the confusion. Here is something else to consider when comparing these two vehicles. One of the major perceived advantages of the CTS-V is the...
