well, today I started my car up, and wow...It idled for like 1 minute and then the turbo itself started to smoke..I don't no whats wrong..I did the same thing JT87na did by teeding into the oil pressure sender port and put the oil return in the oil cooler line..Turbo gets so damn hot..Coolant lines are also hooked up to the turbo. My car is currently hot piped but I don't think that would make the turbo over heat in less than 1 minute. Please help thanks

what do you mean it smokes? smokes from where?

If its smoking from the surface it could just be oil residue from oily hands/enviroment. no harm done...

If its smoking out the tailpipe or turbo inlets/outlets.. then there is a problem

What do you mean by "hot piped"

I was thinking that maybe the turbo is clogged with all the old oil since this turbo has been sitting for a while... Think this could be my problem?
