Alright, I dynoed 400rwhp and 460rwtq w/dp/exhaust/bcc/rps clutch and pulled hose.. I go to the track and make 3 passes. All of them were ~113mph, no matter what I did. I got a 2.5 & a 2.6 60' still 113. Then, I get a 2.2 60' and go 12.8 @ 113. I was shifting fast and I know I had a good solid run on the 12.8, but my MPH is low. Keep in mind that the car had an EVC1 hooked up the pressure tank setup, but I pulled wg hose anyway...
thanks
Roger

Did you pull your headlight and reset your ECU? If you have the stock airbox, take the cover off also. This will get you another 2 mph, and with dr's you'll knock off about .4 sec. so you will be at [email protected] by doing those 3 things. It worked for me.

Try it again with a lot of race gas. :)

Thanks for the info.. I have an Akimoto intake and I pulled the headlight and trac fuse. Yea, someone told me to run race gas, but I don't want to. My two friends run 117-120 w/ no race gas... I didn't think a Supra would need it even though some guys use it. I didn't get timing retard on the dyno, so...
thanks

Keep pulling the headlight, I picked up 2 mph when doing this. Usually ressetting the ECU does nothing for me, but I still do it because guys like the KING say it helps.

My traps went down by 1 mph from reseting the ECU, next run they were back up. Not quite sure why this is, I thinks it is how the ECU pulls timing. It detects knock, then pulls timing out and adds it back until it sees knock again. But then I'm getting almost full timing advance anyway.... I'll datalog my next 1/4 mi runs on my obd2 scanner.

Why dont you want to run race gas? there are no ill side effects to running 104 octane and will allow you to pick up a few mph. Drag radials will also shave some time off. Also depends on altitude of the track, temp, and barometer.

HEY ORLANDO! I'm in daytona! I'd like to meet up sometime and go for a ride if I could, I'm pretty serious about buying a 94-95 TT 6spd. I'd like a ride and to take a close look at the car if I could. Thanks!
