I managed to get 7 runs in, my worst was a 13.9x and my best was

60' 2.139
330 5.894
1/8 8.859
mph 83.19
1000 11.383
1/4 13.497
mph 107.04

I have k&n, BIC ddp and test pipe, greddy sp, profec b @13 psi on 130k mile origional ct-26, lex/550, s-afcII tuned from 10.6 to 11.5. I also have a 4.3lsd. I had to shift into 4th at the 1/8 and I was going through the traps at 6250 rpm in 4th. The car is an 86.5 at 3550 lbs with me in it. Maybe I will get some slicks on it for next week.

I have a centerforce dual friction and I am using sawblades with 225/50/16 falkens in the rear.

boostadd, what was your 60' in your 13.5 run?
60' 2.2 :( aight peace :chicken:

Here's the run down:

60': 2.2
330: 5.9
1/8: 8.8
mph: 82.9
1000: 11.42
1/4: 13.53
mph: 107.9

I think the reason my 60' was bad was cause I blew out my rear shocks during my 2nd run of the day :( KYB's= sorry POS's!

well i just bought a pair of falken's 512's for the back of my car and they seem to be a lot better then my Comp TA's. they grip pretty good, but then are wider then my last set of tires.

I have falken 512's in the back. I noticed they held up in the rain much better then my last tires.

2.2 is not a bad 60' time for street tires on a supra. Im shooting for a 2.0 60' on streets. I am going to put some hardpipes on and maybe use some slicks to get me a 12.9 on the stock turbo....ya right.

0o0o i can't wait to get to a 1/4 mile track. i pulled a 1.9 60ft. on street tires last fall and ran a 8.9 1/8th. I've got fresh tires now and hardpipes so hopefully i can improve on that as well as bear deep into the 13's.

Nice work!

*edit*

hrmm looking at your mph's though i'm wondering if the track i was at has accurate equipment beause you all have run quicker 1/8ths at a lower mph but a slower 60ft.. guess i'll find out this summer :dunno:

no, its my 4.3 lsd that changes my mph, as I said I am shifting into 4th at the 1/8 mile marker. The 4.3 is great because even if I bog it off the line it revs up into the powerband so fast. It feels like it drops my 60' a few tenths. I think you will be able to get 13.3-13.4 at abount 110mph with that setup.

I have to say the three most effective factors I have done to get my car here is the 4.3lsd, ddp and tuning the afcII.

Are you sure that 4.3 lsd is helping your 60?

My cars got less power as yours, and still has enough rear wheel torque to spin the tires anywhere in the first 60'. Since the back tires will spin with a certain amount of torque, im pretty sure that the diff wont make a difference in that first 60', when throttle is being modulated to avoid spinning tires. Ive got the 3.73 and I was getting the same 60's as you most of the night, with less power. I think with the 3.73, the only difference is that the clutch has to slip more.

well what felt like a 2.4-2.5 60' time with my 3.91 is now a 2.2-2.3 for my 4.30.
