i'm planing to get new rims for my supra, 18x10.5 for the rear, it should be 10.5" wide, but i dont know what should i get for front, 18x8.5 or 9.5 " (( SSR wheel , type C )

SSR Type-c sizes are"

18×8.5J offset : 32 , 40 , 48 mm

18×9.5 offset: +22 +29 +36 +41

18×10.5 offset +15 +25 +35 +45

how about: front 18x9.5 offset 41 , and for rear : 18x10.5 offset 45mm

please advise

Those sizes and offsets should be fine. They will fill the wheelwells nicely. You may have to trim the fender lips depending on what size tires you use.

By the way, very nice car! :beerchug:

If your doing a 9.5" wheel on the front, you will want more than a +41mm offset.

ive run a 18x9.5 +38 offset with a 285, on fronts and they havent rubbed yet, but i have yet to hit a hard bump yet.
I'd be very suprised if you don't.

good lord; who wants to drive with 285s on the front? doesnt that absolutely kill responsiveness? i remember jumping down to 225s from 245s on my 17x8s and it made a world of a difference in responsiveness

225s? ... I guess it all depends on what you are looking for.

Straight line racing ... sure. But if you want to handle the corners, 225s aren't going to cut it. That poor Supra will push like a pig.

Nothing wrong with 285s up front if you are fat in back.

BTW - I'm running 265s up front and 285s in back ... sticks to the road like she's on rails.

thansk all

i dont care about handling , i need then for straight line race,

i can not decide what to use for front,,

i think i will go with RAYS wheels ( TE37 )

18×9J offset : 40 mm

18×9.5 offset: +12, +22, +35, +40

18×10.5 offset +15, +22, +45

i will go with :

front : 18x9J offset 40mm ( tire : 245 /40/18) Overall Diam: 25.7
rear: 18x10.5 offset 45mm ( tire : 305/30/18 ) Overall Diam: 25.2

i think this is the best setup.

any comment ,,, before i place my order

sorry bud, but if you don't care about handling and just want drag, then those 18" TE37s will be a step down.

Try the 17" TE37s, they are a nice wheel choice since they're very light, or you could go with even smaller wheels if you don't mind the look. I say go for the 18s and try some turns in your supra:p
