I thought that I would post some videos and links to the latest project at the shop. It is a Dynacorn body 1969 Mustang built for Vaughn Gitten JR and Team Need For Speed. If any of you have the new Need for Speed shift 2 game, this is the drift boss car, and it is on the back cover. We got to bring it to life..

We just completed her and shipped her back east to Vaughn Gitten JR. We did a test day at Willow Springs last week and Jr romped on her pretty good.
It is awesome to see it finally alive and kicking..

The build thread was covered on Speedhunters.com under "team need for speed' if any of you are interested.

Thank you for checking it out..

I hate drifting so much. A sport trying so hard to be "extreme" and yet so boring when compared to any other form of auto racing (cept maybe nascar) Dont get me wroing, I realize there is a lot of skill that the drivers use to navigate the cars sideways around a track but damn....

Regardless, amazing car, love the look and build quality is top notch.

sounds good but I'm surprised it's "only" 400 rwhp. is it a stock coyote crate motor?

Yes it is a stock Coyote crate engine. The Kinsler ITB's and 4/2/1 headers. The engine is rated at 444 at the crank. so we should be at 470 or so at the crankshaft with a 15% loss.
But, we will have more time to play with the cams in the future and poss gain a little more.

and im glad that you guys like it. especially since it is a Ford.
For the record, that new 5.0 is bad ass. the coyote version has cnc ported heads, baffles in the oil pan, and a bunch of nice extras. They are defiantly looking to evolve it into something serious.

Ford does 1 thing right. Circle the problem.

But seriously, nice build and nice car. I love the pre-'72 mustangs.
