Hey I had a question for you whom are familiar with the mkiii supra.

The other day I installed a Koyo rad on my 1988 7m gte supra. I also deleted the condenser radiator unit, the ac lines and the belt driven ac pump. I did not bother to re install the large electric blow through fan in front of the radiator. Meaning I left the plug for it just zip tied there. So now I went out to mess around with my car. I turned on the headlights by turning the driver's headlight switch and they popped up like normal. Then when I turned them off again the driver`s side light went down like normal. But the passenger side tried to go down and then popped back up again. It just continued to do this until it stopped in the up position.

Why would it do this? I was adjusting my fenders and front piece as well. Could it be just that there is too much rubbing when the headlight tries to pop up and down? I also tried to use the adjustment knob but it seems to reset itself after 1 circulation. Or is it because the fan needs to be plugged in?

No it has the full range of adjustment with the manual knob. It happens when I switch off the lights from inside the car. The passenger side light will fold in but then immediately pop up, down, up, down, up, down then stay up. SO WTF? I don't understand why. The motor obviously is working. Maybe this is not such a common problem as I thought.

I have never heard of this issue! Sounds like your shit is possessed or having a stroke...

Could possibly be a sign that the motor is going out, anyone else have a clue??

you probably had moisture in the area where the electric harness plugs to the motor. Put some sort of electrical grease in the connector area and should keep it from happening again.

Haha I still laugh when I watch that movie. But thanks for bringing this back to my attention. I have my car as my main project in the shop right now so I will put some effort into this issue as well.
