Here you go--I always try to save this stuff on the NA cause it seems so elusive...

Sources that will show multiple but similar data.

http://www.geocities.com/ma71supraturbo/articles.html

0-60 6.8 Philidephia Inquirer Automotive section 1993

Motor Trend quoted Toyota as saying 0-60 "under 7 seconds"

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html
(compiled from multiple respected magazines)
0-60 6.9 1/4 15.2

And my favorite: as posted on theautochannel.com and the only one I have seen for sure that a 5-speed was tested. (I will be the first to admit these times seem a bit quick for the NA)

I think NAs are badass. That's pretty fast for a heavy ass car like the MKIV. I really would like to get one some day, it seems like every one always gives up on their NS projects

Ooohhh, I can't wait my friend. It's gonna be good times. But an EVEN bigger plus is that I will be "The 1st" Person to have in NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR. Also as far as I know, I don't think there is even one in Newbrunswick, PEI, or even Nova Scotia.

THANKS Supra_szr and SuprasMaximus you your info!

And yes, I think N/A's are BADAZZ and have LOOOADS of potential and great performance. . .

You just have to know where to look and what to buy. :)

I've always wanted a copy of that article. If I remember, it was a back page written by Pat Beddard & titled: "This Car Is Serious Stuff!". Know where I can download it?

It was actually titled "Take this one seriously" :)

Anyway I don't know where to down load the actual article but the book I have it in is called "TOYATA SUPRA PERFORMANCE PORTFOLIO 1982-1998"
It's a very nice book to have to add to any collection of Supra stuff. I think I got it on ebay a couple of years ago. The ISBN is 1 85520 6366 if you'd like to look the book up.

i ran a 14.8 at 92mph 98 na auto vvti with just and intake and stock tt y pipe with na muffler
It was an Automatic, that's probaly why.

1996 was the FIRST year of the VVti (Varible Valve Timing) right fellas?

Also 1st year (and only) year the 6-Speed was dropped due to emission controls.
