I am looking at buying a basicly done (minus engine and front and back sets) 1993.5 supra auto TT. It has a trans in it and every thing down to the intercooler piping, but im wondering about the price. is 7500 really a good price? it is red has what i think is a bomex body kit on it. the sides skirts are off of it because of a crack in one but they are there and could be fixed. so what do you guys think?

what condition is the title in ? is it an original tt? if it has a good title and its and original tt then thats a good deal!! nothing else matter! you can get the rest of your parts from here. just keep checking the for sell section.

I think it is a salvege title because it was broken into. , but I think it is a original TT. I will do some checking on it and let you know. Thanks for the help.

I assume the car your referring to is the one listed on a certain online auction site. From the looks of it, the car was an original TT, however it's had a salvage title since 2003, and was considered a junk vehicle/not rebuilable. Given the title history I'd make sure you can actually register it in your state.

so i'm looking at the DMV website and so far, of what I have found, is that i shouldn't have any super bad issues getting it registered here. Heres the link to what I found. If anyone knows more please feel free to let me know. The only issue I can see is the fact that the engine will be put in here which means not all the work will be done out of state.

Hell yea that's a good deal...you would have a running car for 11-12k

Thats the goal, and i know for a supra 11k is cheap...dirt cheap. Even for a N/A. my plan is to buy a used 2jz TT with trans and drop the engine in and keep the trans and maybe beef it up and drop it in. my big goal is about 500whp that can be daily driven if I so choose. gas prices may say otherwise though.

Thats not a bad plan and could be done with that car, if your patient and just keep an eye on the for sale section you might come out with a pretty damn good deal.

For now its gonna stay a thought. Found out the house has some wind dmg and some water dmg so i have to get that all fixed before I go buying a car. "almost cry face." I drive a truck for a living so i came back to a nice surprise. Lol.
