this might sound really stupid but where is the map sensor located on the 1j...
I know the 1jz is not maf.... I'd figure it would be somewhere on the intake mani somewhere... Anyone have any pictures of it???

finding a place to mount it is harder w/o making any holes in the firewall that might cause rust .haha i jus left it wrapped around my wire harness

No, that is the line for your brake booster, It can be any small pressurized line coming off of the intake.
