yikes

you have a pin out of the 1jz tps? That would help alot. Or a tsrm would be better.

ok

seems like they use the same signal just labeled differently

1jz tps
IDL2
VTA2
VTA1
IDL This is probably the same as IDL on the 7m TPS

7m TPS
Vcc +5 VDC
VTA Signal
IDL on/off for idle
E2 Ground

as you see i got most of it. I can not tell from the diagram what VTA 1 and IDL2 are. Though it should be easy enough

with a multimeter

Process of elimination.

With throttle closed

contect to
VTA1 and VTA2,
IDL2 and VTA1.
IDL2 and VTA2

throttle open

VTA1 and VTA2,
IDL2 and VTA1.
IDL2 and VTA2

IF IDL2 and VTA2 stayed the same in both position. Either ILD2 or VTA2 is the ground
IF VTA1 and VTA2 resistance increased by going from closed to open. Then either VTA1 or VTA2 is gorund
Because of step 1 VTA2 MUST be ground.
This means that IDL2 is more than likely the 5 VDC while VTA1 is the output signal:)

if that is the case

VTA1 = VTA on 7m TPS
VTA2 = E2 on the 7m TPS
IDL = IDL on 7m
IDL2 = E2

now It would be cleared if I had a 1jz tps infront of me but this should be close.

wow you did really sleep in :)

btw the step i gave you apply to the other 4 pins

it is a process of elimination.
