It's not even the "normal" 1 liter per 1.5k. Like some people just got an oil change and 2k or less later they are already at the minimal level.

From what I understand Toyota is replacing the engine or offering buy backs. One guy chose to go after them under the lemon law.

Most of us have heard that "BMWs burn oil". What I find amazing is that the B58 engine has been in production for 6-years or so (!?) and the issue continues to exist in 2021. In a joint venture project. With the auto manufacturer that has the world's best reputation for quality, durability and reliability.

If ever BMW was going to get it right, making a product for Toyota, the world's #1 manufacturer
on a number of widely accepted metrics, this would have been THE time to get it right. Puts the lie to Toyota inspecting and re-spec'cing 2500 parts before the vehicle went into production as well. SMH.

yeah, that’s one hella funny. I got an even more funny one. How about the 2021 owners that were talking shit about the 2020 and now their motors are burning oil like a 80’s POS and saying it’s “normal” to burn 1 Qt every 1200 miles. Or putting “thicker” oil to mask the problem and voiding their warranties on a brand new car. Lmao hahahahah
