Yes, The intake manifold is a direct bolt-on. You just need longer bolts.
Wrong.

Both the 1JZ and 2JZ intake manifolds will not bolt up to a 7M head and in fact have different shaped flanges compared to the 7M as well. Below is a pic of my old converted manifold where you can see the 7M lower runner/flange welded to the 2JZ lower runner.

money is better spent on a nice turbo, pistons, and rods. ffim is going to free up some extra power, but its not going to create hp. id go with a set of cams that highlight the turbo trim you had selected.

stock mani is ugly and makes the ic piping abit longer, i get it. but focus on the basics first do you have a standalone ems yet?

No it wont.
w58 trans = non turbo 5 speed
r154 = turbo 5 speed

I have a W58 on my 7MGTE and it holds power like a beast, just get a good clutch and pressure plate and don't go past 350-400 hp and a W58 should be just fine..

i've owned one of these intakes (it came with my car when i bought it) for the 7m... obviously it was welded to the 7m lower runners. it didnt flow right, and certain cylinders would get more air than others. cylinder 1 piston melted its crown to the cylinder head... if i had the stock manifold, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have melted like that. i saw signs in the plugs that it was a little leaner on that cylinder. but i kind of ignored it since it was a stock 2jzgte intake and i didnt think there was a way the flow would be that far off. but yeah, if i ever go to a ffim again, its gonna be a proper one. its popular to go with the 2jzgte upper intake plenum even on my engine... no thanks.
