Alright so I'm look for some basic info about the 2JZ motor and what all would be required to drop it into a 99 mustang chassis.

Aside from the obvious things,

ECU
Motor
Trans
K-member
Motor mounts
Exhaust
Guages
Fuel system

What else would I need to do this swap? Also I want some advice on the different versions of the 2jz, I'd like to make about 700rwhp through a 6 speed trans and Ford 9inch. What size turbo? single or twins? any advice will be great.

Try searching, theres a thread on here about someone dropping a 2JZ in a mustang if i can find it. And you might want to put your flame suit on...

I belive theres only one in a newer style car aka SN95. Google cupra its a local car and its got a 2jz.

Haha I don't really care about other people disliking it, I want to do something different. My favorite mustang body is the 03-04 cobra which I currently have. It's just not quite what I want, not a fan of IRS, want a solid rear etc... I saw the thread on the fox body swap, but have never seen a 2JZ in a 99-04/new edge body. Just trying to do some homework and find out information on several of my ideas.
