What do you guys think of this idea? Put a 2jz in a corvette C6? Good idea or should I pass on the crackpipe :) ?

What if you put the 2jz with a corvette drivetrain in a completely different car?
If you are speaking about a T56 there was information about it a while back. Problem is I think the rear end actually has to be pretty tall. To get that to work would be quiet a hassle.

I would just run the LSX motor that was in there but thats just me I guess.

I normally love all engine swaps, but this would be a strange one.
I wouldn't ever remove an LSx or 2JZ-GTE from any car. LSx and 2JZ-GTE's go into cars that don't have one or the other, IMO.

Find a high mileage/blown motor C5 and it could get interesting.

Only problem I see is where you are gonna find room for a big single on the pass side....I guess if you relocate the battery and fuse box you could have a lot of room right there.

Imagine if I swapped the motors in my cars....

2JZ in my C6 Z06 and a LS7 in my Supra... I think I might get shot by a Corvette Forum member or a Supra Forum member for sure... LOL :)

I think the lsX motors are great but I am for all seeing this swap. I don't really see it being that different. They already use built auto's for the fastest Z06's. Remember the transmission is connected to the diff in the rear, and the trans is connected to the motor via the torque tube.
