Below are a few quick motor pics in anticipation of TX2K06.....

A big thanks to Don Summerton of AP Engineering out of Toledo, OH who has done an incredible job making sure no detail is missed. If anyone in the midwest needs a talented guy to work on a Supra, he is the man.

Justin, I'm heading down to Austin by month end!

Also thanks to Nero and Ryan for supplying the stroker motor, Dave at Headgames for a more aggressive race port, WOTM and Curt for all the required parts, Geoff at Full-Race for an awesome manifold and 5" downpipe/midpipe and Brian at Woolfe Aircraft for hooking us up with the hard to find 5" bends and piping for the exhaust!

Peter get that Viper ready :)

Hopefully the motor fits back into the car.... :bigthumb:

It it Marcus's old car, but pretty much the only thing that has remained the same since I bought it back in 2004 is the body.

GT47-80 with 272 cams.

Doug, I still have the motor Don built last year. Only 900 or so miles on it, it's in perfect shape but we're sending it to Bullish to freshen up and I either plan on hanging on to it as a spare or sell it this summer. I'm not sure yet.

Jaime, congrats on the car, it's BEAUTIFUL, I'm anxious to see how it's going to turn out and I'm anxious to see this beast on the dyno. AP Engineering has done a fantastic job for you and I'm excited about having them as official sponsors of TX2K6!!!!

As for my Viper, it's ready, you make sure YOU are ready...

I guess Ryan finally has some competition :p

Jamie the motor looks good! Who did your coating???? And Polisihng???? :) Wipe your finger prints off our coating and polishing!

Competition for what? An 80 would have been good competition 6 months ago:)

Hua,

Are you heading to Tx? If not, as you know, we'll be down in Columbus this summer to run some of your buddies....:)

I don't think Hua going unless he decides to change his mind. However, I still plan on making the trip to Texas. When are you guys leaving with the trailer?

I'm supposed to leave on Tuesday morning 3/14.

Also, keep me updated when you head to C-bus. I'm sure I can head out there with some additional highway killers, too. In the end, you'll still have the lead, AFAIK.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I can't take credit for much. AP Engineering has done an awesome job keeping this build on track. I can't say enough about Don and his partner Russ.

Yes, Ryan, how could I forget.....the polishing turned out great :) And your top-secret NASA coating is awesome too!!! Both highly recommended. Now you need to give me better deals you greedy bastard.... :takethat:

Can't wait for Tx!!!
