You can't on a straight axle at all...

If your concerns are negative camber under load, simply load the suspension and set it accordingly. It would not be optimal for a daily driven car (or any other purpose)... but that's not the concern here, just a drag car.

you're still missing the point: if you set camber/toe @ full squat, you'll end up with too much + and too much toe once the car relaxes a bit (later on down the 1/4). certainly you can compromise, but it will never be as good as a live axle.

My friend has a few 12.8 passes with 346 to the wheels. Car has a "built" A340 and was on plain old street tires. 310 should be plenty to get mid 13s.

Trust me, I can see the point you're making.

A live axle has some disadvanges that IRS eliminates, but the alignment issues probably aren't worth the hassle.
