Do you still sell the 4" intakes for the gt2835 kit? I believe they came with blitz filters. I couldn't find it on the website, but I saw it on a member's car. I'm also looking for a 4" mp/dp combo for the same turbo kit.....thanks.

Ken,

My standard HKS 2835's are with the 2 3/4" piping. I was under the impression that the 2835R's had the 3" intake piping that could be used with the Blitz SUS filters. Unless you modify the housing on the standard HKS 2835 housing or make progressive enlarge piping I do not think the Blitz SUS filters are an option.

Can we assume that the picture above has the modified inlet housing?

Vic,
I believe that the short stubby style Blitz sus intakes will work with the right adapter/reducer like in the picture below of this TRD wb with the standard GT2835's. Ive been asking around everywhere and nobody seems to know the part#s for the blitz adapters..

Believe me, i'd love to know myself. I asked Dusty a while ago about this, and we only were able to catalog the (4) available universal filters, but no "adapters."

The Blitz filters look simply amazing compared to the fugly HKS megas that comes with the kit. I just wish there was a place to source these adapters if in fact they do exist.

Regards,

Vic

Vic,

The HKS GT2835Rs have a 100 mm compressor inlet; however, the GT2835Rs do NOT come with 100 mm intakes from HKS. If you want the 2835Rs, the 3240s like I have, or any HKS twin-turbo set-up with 100 mm inlets, you are required to fabricate your own intakes. In the pic I posted above, and on my black car, SP Engineering fabricated the 100 mm intakes and utilized the Blitz SUS filters that fit such intakes.

As to your 70 mm intakes, here's a link to the SPE Top Secret HKS 2835 car with the larger Blitz intakes: http://www.sp-power.com/projectcar/photo_detail.php?fid=3225&gid=213&galleryid=111. And, another of Rsky's HKS 3.4L/3037Ss car also built by SP Engineering with Blitz intakes: http://www.sp-power.com/projectcar/photo_detail.php?fid=3417&gid=286&galleryid=151. Hope this helps.

The adapters do exist. Here's a pic of how they look like in order to fit the 4 inch filters. I actually used to run them before the 4 inch custom intake pipes were made.

Ken,

It certainly does help, but again the key is knowing where to find that adapter for my 2835's. I asked a few people some time ago, even PM'ing the owner of the SP Top Secret widebody car, unfortunately he never got back to me. With that said, hopefully this thread sparks some interest with someone knowing what part that is.

Here are the Universal Filter Specs;

26000 C1 Core (6" x 7 3/4" Opening 6")
26001 C2 Core (5" x 7 3/4" Opening 6")
26002 C3 Core (5 1/2" x 6" Opening 4 1/2")
26003 C4 Core (3 1/2" x 6" Opening 4 1/2")

Now i'm guessing here that the SP TS Supra picured here is using the C3 universal cone with the C3/C4 70-mm adapter......?

http://www.sp-power.com/projectcar/photo_detail.php?fid=3225&gid=213&galleryid=111

The adapters do exist, but I searched throughout the internet, and found only a place in the UK selling them but without a part # as reference;

http://www.srbpower.com/blitz/sus-power-filter-universalcoreadaptors.php

If SP could source the Blitz adapter part, i'm sure a few people wouldn't mind buying the intakes from them as well (hint hint).

:wavey:

SP help us!

I beleive these are what people are needing for a 4" intake. Only work of course with 4" intake pipes, being that its 100mm. I will probably order two of these and 2 of the C2 cores if my source cant get them and Chris is willing to make orders for people.

If your using the standard 2835 intake pipe then I believe the one Chris showed is what people need. Correct me if im wrong.
